The Quame Uruuj Foundation, in collaborations with Smart Service organized a unique program in Chiplun city on 18th April, 2022. As part of this initiative, they provided Food Licenses to 10 Bachat Gats, each consisting of 10 women. Additionally, the foundation facilitated the acquisition of shop act license for the women. This program was designed to empower women economically by enabling them to engage in food-related businesses and other entrepreneurial ventures. Through this collaboration, women in the community were given the opportunity to establish and run their own businesses contributing to their financial independence and overall empowerment.

This initiative aimed to support and empower women entrepreneurs by assisting them in registering their businesses, thereby enabling them to access resources and opportunities for economic growth and empowerment.

The collaboration between the Quame Uruuj foundation and S.M. Beauty Parlour & Academy in Mumbai aimed to empower woman through a comprehensive Basic Beautician Course. The program was designed to provide woman with essential skills and knowledge in the field of and cosmetics, enabling them to pursue employment opportunities or start their own businesses.
Over the course of the program, three batches were completed, with each batch comprising participants eager to learn and excel in the field of beauty services, in total 29 women successfully completed the course demonstrating their dedication and commitment to their personal and professional growth.
Participants were given the opportunity to learn and practice in a supportive environment, gaining confidence & proficiency in their skills. Additionally, the program emphasized the importance of professionalism, customer service and entrepreneurship, equipping woman with the tools they need to succeed in the beauty industry.
Throughout the course, participants received mentorship and guidance from industry experts, allowing them to ask questions, seek advice and refine their techniques. Upon completion of the course, all 29 women were awarded certificates, recognizing their hard work and proficiency in the field of beautician services. Theses certificates serve as a testament to their achievements and signify their readiness to enter the workforce with confidence and competence.
Overall, the Basic Beautician Course provided by the Quame Uruuj Foundation and S. M. Beauty Parlour & Academy was valuable opportunity for woman in Mumbai to acquire essentials skills, pursue their passions, and improve their livelihoods. It exemplified the power of collaboration and community engagement in promoting gender empowerment and socio-economic development.

The Quame Uruuj Foundation conducted a unique program during the AMRUT Mahotsav event held on 15th August, 2022, in Chiplun city. The program focused on raising awareness about environmental conservation and sustainable development. Activities included tree planting drives, educational workshops on waste management and community clean up initiatives. Additionally, the foundation organized cultural performances highlighting the importance of preserving local heritage and traditions. The Quame Uruuj Foundation collaborated with Mahima Ladies Beauty Parlour & Shifa’s Stylish Studio & Beauty Parlour to conduct a Basic Beautician course aimed at empowering women in Chiplun, a total of 22 women successfully completed the course and were awarded certificates.

The Quame Uruuj Foundation collaborated with Maharashtra School, Chiplun to conduct a unique program on Children’s Day, 14th November, 2022. A total of 102 students participated in the event. Two activities were organized, drawing competition and a speech competition. The event aimed to celebrate Children’s Day and provide students with a platform to showcase their artistic and oratory skills.

The Quame Uruuj Foundation organized a unique program called “HALDI KUMKUM” on 27th January, 2023 in Chiplun city. The program aimed to empower woman in various aspect of their lives, including education, entrepreneurship, health and self defense. It featured workshops, seminars and interactive sessions conducted by experts in these fields. Additionally, there were cultural performances and exhibitions showcasing women’s talents and achievements. The Haldi Kumkum program received positive feedback from participants and contributed significantly to the upliftment of women in India.

Quame Uruuj Foundation in collaborations with Maharashtra College of Arts, Commerce & Science, organized a unique program on the occasion of the diamond jubilee of Republic Day on 26th January, 2024. The program was a pledge ceremony aimed at promoting water conservation. It involved NCC (National Cadet Corps) Girls & Boys units, NSS (National Social Service), Green Club Volunteers as well as teaching and non teaching staff. This initiative underscores the importance of collective action in safeguarding our precious water resources for future generations.
